不灭的生物不会因以下原因而进入坟墓场：致命伤害、来自具死触之来源的伤害，以及注记「消灭」的效应。不过，不灭的生物仍有其他原因会进入坟墓场。最常见的原因是该生物被牺牲，或是其防御力为0或更少。（在这两种情况下，当然会是将玄铁巨像洗入其拥有者的牌库，而非置入其拥有者的坟墓场。）
Lethal damage, damage from a source with deathtouch, and effects that say "destroy" won't cause a creature with indestructible to be put into the graveyard. However, a creature with indestructible can be put into the graveyard for a number of reasons. The most likely reasons are if it's sacrificed or if its toughness is 0 or less. (In these cases, of course, Darksteel Colossus would be shuffled into its owner's library instead of being put into its owner's graveyard.)
